Subject: New TIF Bonus to Drivers

 

The TLC’s Taxi and Improvement Fund (TIF) now offers yellow and green wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) drivers a one-time $100 signing bonus after completing their first 20 WAV trips. To enroll in the TIF driver program and receive your one-time $100 bonus, complete the Authorization Form and W9. After your application is processed you’ll receive a Bank of America debit card and qualify for TIF payments.

 

If you are an enrolled driver, you will receive the one-time $100 bonus after you complete your next 20 WAV trips. All metered trips in yellow and green WAV are covered after drivers are enrolled in the program.

 

As a reminder, the TLC also offers WAV drivers the following benefits:

• $1 for every trip made in a wheelchair accessible yellow or green taxi
• At least $15 for every Accessible Dispatch Trip
